About Luther
Proudly resided in Manatee County for over 20 years. With 12 years of service in the military and an honorable discharge, he acquired a strong sense of duty and leadership. As an executive member of the Manasota Black Chamber of Commerce, a shop steward for the United Steelworkers, and the president of the Manatee County NAACP, his commitment to public service and community involvement has remained steadfast throughout his career. Through volunteering with various local organizations, he has diligently worked to support schools and promote community development. His extensive experience has provided him with a profound understanding of the district's issues and the collaborative approach necessary to address them.

Adequate funding to support teachers and student's needs for resources, in order to set the foundation needed for a high-quality education.

Sustainable economic growth happens through supporting the small businesses that protect the residents of this community and the legacies they have worked to build; and to create job opportunities for Manatee County, while ensuring workers receive fair wages.

Dedicated to protect our natural resources by promote sustainable practices to ensure a healthy environment for future generations.
WORK FORCE HOUSING
Will work to utilize the tools provided through legislation to incentivize more workforce housing for our government and essential workers; as well as our growing population of young professionals and their families.
